Avid trekkers or hikers (as well as a food enthusiast) can explore the countryside just on the outskirts of town. There are a number of easy to medium hikes found only 20 mins from the city. The foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range comprises small, picturesque villages with distinctive North African architecture. This excursion is designed to give you an insight into how life still remains relatively simple only 40 mins south of Granada city. - From 170€, 5-6 hour day trip (car not provided, hire car needed or private hire vehicle can be arranged - extra charge)

One of our guides, has produced his own olive oil and is incredibly knowledgeable about Spain's liquid gold production. The tasting includes 3 oils plus cheese and a glass of wine. Another is a trained sommelier and can provide a mini wine tasting (3 wines) or a more extensive one (4-6 wines). Both options are held in an amazing, beautiful old building with a mezzanine floor and local art work on the walls. - Between 20€ - 40€pp
