MÁLAGA AIRPORT:

Bus (to city centre)

Journey → 30 mins to 45 mins (depending on traffic)
Price → 1,20€ (each way) NB: there is a FREE bus also from the same stop at peak times
Timetable → every 20 mins

Tips
1. Málaga Airport has recently opend an enormous new Departures / Arrivals area.  Ask at the Information Point about where to catch the bus into Málaga bus station.

Train (to city centre)

Journey → 20 mins
Price → approx. 2€ (each way)
Timetable → every 30 mins

Tips
1. The train stop is located at the other side of the dual carriageway.  There is a walkway over.  The ticket machine will give you a ticket to RENFE (DO NOT go to ALAMEDA - city centre).  Timetable posted on board at station stop.

(NB: there are lots of road /train track works taking place in 2009/10 and so the trains in BOTH directions may come along the same line)
